Overview: Lamoille FiberNet CUD wishes to contract for a single federal audit, which will including an audit of its financial statements, for the fiscal years ending December 31, 2024, and December 31, 2025.  Such audits will express an opinion on the fair presentation of the financial statements in conformity with generally accepted accounting principles, and opinions and recommendations as to the conformance with federal grant awards.

Work must be accomplished according to industry standards and in compliance with applicable laws and regulations, including: generally accepted auditing standards as set forth by the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants; the current standards for financial audits set forth in the U.S. General Accounting Office’s Government Auditing Standards; the provisions of the Single Audit Act of 1984 and the Single Audit Act Amendments of 1996 (when applicable); the Single Audit requirements for federal awards and relevant Vermont requirements as set forth in 30 VSA §3070, pertaining to Communication Union District audits, or the Vermont Office of Finance and Management rules for state grants and contracts.

Overview: Lamoille FiberNet CUD (LFCUD) is seeking letters of qualifications from law firms or individual attorneys to provide legal services on an as-needed basis to our CUD. We anticipate a two-year agreement.  The selected firm or individual will provide guidance primarily on governance and compliance issues, driven largely by Vermont law.  We anticipate needing advice relating to interlocal municipal agreements, Vermont public records and public meetings, state and federal grant compliance, including procurement and contracting, Board governance, and other matters essential to our operation.

Overview: Lamoille FiberNet Communications Union District (“LFCUD” or “Lamoille FiberNet”) is seeking a qualified individual or organization to perform a range of administrative and compliance duties, including those of District Clerk. See Title 30, Chapter 82, section 3068.  This RFQ outlines the scope of work, qualifications (experience and skills) and submission requirements.

Lamoille FiberNet  is issuing this Request for Quote (“RFQ”) for Accounting Services as it transitions from preconstruction planning activities to implementation of a long-term partnership with Consolidated Communications Services, Inc., leveraging state and federal grants to fund construction of a fiber-to the-home network in Lamoille County. The management, tracking, handling, and accounting for these state and federal grants, and Lamoille FiberNet’s Administrative Budget requires consistent, professional expertise.
