Lamoille FiberNet 2023 Annual Report Now Available

Lamoille FiberNet Communications Union District is proud to announce that our 2023 Annual Report is now available.  To learn more about this year’s activities, next year’s planned construction, and some of the reasons we chose Fidium Fiber to serve our District, check out the report.  We also invite you to review our proposed 2024 budget, published with the annual report.

We will be taking comments on the proposed budget at our November 15th Governing Board meeting – the public is welcome to attend. For information on how to attend meetings or info about Lamoille FiberNet generally, visit our website:  https://lamoillefiber.net.

As noted in prior posts, Phase 1 construction is not planned to begin until mid-2024.  We will update each town as construction plans are finalized, and when ready, post our schedule on our website. We expect areas to be served on a rolling basis, beginning early summer 2024 through the end of 2024, and addresses will be served as construction progresses.

To find out if your address will be included in Phase 1, please email our construction manager, Fabian Bourgeois at fbourgeois@lamoillefiber.net. Remember, we will not know exactly when your address or road is being built until designs are finalized.

Please do not call Fidium — it is too early in the process for Fidium sales representatives to schedule installations. If you want to let Fidium know you are interested in fiber Internet service, you may put your address on their “pre-order” list via the online option:

1) Go to: http://fidiumfiber.com and click CHECK AVAILABILITY button, top right of screen,
2) Enter your address and fill in the form,
3) Fidium will take it from there!

Also, you can see Fidium’s product and price information by visiting: https://www.fidiumfiber.com/fiber-internet

Any questions?

For other questions, feel free to email the Lamoille FiberNet office at: info@lamoillefiber.net or visit our website: https://lamoillefiber.net/.

Lamoille FiberNet Announces Expanded Long Drop Funding

For most of us, having Fidium bring fiber to the premises (the “drop”) is free. However, some sites need extra work before fiber can be installed — this post is about new funding that is available for eligible addresses and what you can do next. Lamoille FiberNet is expanding its Long Drop Program to help Lamoille residents and businesses afford long (non-standard) drops.
