RFQ for Legal Services 2025-26 — Dec. 10 Deadline

RFQ for Legal Services 2025-26
Date of Issue: November 1, 2024
Application Deadline: December 10, 2024, 5:00 pm

Overview: Lamoille FiberNet CUD (LFCUD) is seeking letters of qualifications from law firms or individual attorneys to provide legal services on an as-needed basis to our CUD. We anticipate a two-year agreement. The selected firm or individual will provide guidance primarily on governance and compliance issues, driven largely by Vermont law. We anticipate needing advice relating to interlocal municipal agreements, Vermont public records and public meetings, state and federal grant compliance, including procurement and contracting, Board governance, and other matters essential to our operation.

Responses and Deadline: Interested parties shall submit responses in accordance with this RFQ as detailed below. Responses must be submitted as PDF attachments via email to director@Lamoillefiber.net by 5:00 PM on Monday December 10, 2024.

Apply for Long Drop Assistance by 3/31

Bringing fiber internet to a home or business from the distribution network (e.g., the pole at the end of the driveway) is called a “drop,” and it can be expensive. The good news is that Lamoille FiberNet will pay for a broad range of long drops for future Fidium customers through its expanded Long Drop Program. This program is available in all 10 Lamoille County towns. Applications are due March 31, 2025.
